Uyen Phuong Dang is a writer living between Saigon, Da Lat, and New Haven. She is a former program coordinator for the Saigon-based arts collective Sàn Art (2022-2024), a Fulbright recipient (2022), a Tin House Scholar (2024), and is currently an Editorial Intern for the American Ethnological Society. Her fiction appears in Black Warrior Review, CRAFTThe Cincinnati Review, and elsewhere.

She holds a BA in Anthropology from Dartmouth College and is currently a PhD student in Sociocultural Anthropology at Yale University. She is also at work on a story collection.
